Mr. Kim Jong-il a Superclass? Mr. Obama a 9/11 Terror Conspirator?

(A legendary ferry on the Edo-Gawa River behind the Taisyakuten Temple, Tokyo)

Mr. Kim Jong-il a Superclass? Mr. Obama a 9/11 Terror Conspirator?

SECTION I: The Superclass

The expression “superclass” is very misleading.

Ordinary citizens, workers, consumers, taxpayers, and voters do not like it.

People want to be rich. People want to enjoy a bountiful life. But, they usually do not like to be controlled by malignant richer people. They do not want to wallow in evildoing, joining superrich people with an abnormal character who want to make the poor more suffer just to make themselves richer and more influential in the society.

I do not think those who are named “superclass” below have all such an abnormal character.

I do not think those who are named “superclass” below can exercise their influential power freely and successfully even if they had a dark desire to make the poor more suffer just to make themselves richer and more influential in the society.

I do not think those who are named “superclass” below are smart enough to act like the Devil against ordinary citizens, workers, consumers, taxpayers, and voters in Japan, Europe and Russia, and the U.S. in addition to China, India, Brazil, Mexico, South Africa, South Korea, Australia, etc.

But, let’s check those superrich people named “superclass” for some commercial and political purpose.

I repeat that I do not think those who are named “superclass” above are smart enough to act like the Devil against ordinary citizens, workers, consumers, taxpayers, and voters in Japan, Europe and Russia, and the U.S. in addition to China, India, Brazil, Mexico, South Africa, South Korea, Australia, etc.

SECTION II: New Wealth

I suspect that as more and more wealth is being created and produced in other regions than Japan, Europe, and the U.S. nowadays, some quasi-smart guys in certain think tanks, media organizations, academic circles, and intelligent communities, who are financially supported by superrich people, are diffusing such an idea or a conspiracy that the Bilderberg Group and the superclass are now controlling the world so effectively that people must be afraid of them, respect them, stop to attack them, and obey them rather than neglect them.

It is because huge new wealth is now being created, produced, and accumulated in Asia, Latin American, Eastern Europe and Africa.

McKinsey: A Shift in Global Financial Power

Increasing liquidity in foreign financial markets is contributing to a shift in global power, especially as foreign investors step in to recapitalize the slumped U.S. economy, according to a global economics report.

Global financial assets rose to $167 trillion in 2006, up from $70.2 trillion a decade ago, before adjusting for inflation, a 137% increase, according to the McKinsey Global Institute’s report on world financial markets. Global nominal gross domestic product climbed to $48.3 trillion from $30.2 trillion in the same period, a 60% increase.

The increase was perpetuated by markets such as China and Russia, which continued to grow and achieve financial depth.…

Emerging markets have rebounded from the financial crises that rocked many of their economies a decade ago. China is the heavyweight, but the group also includes Russia and other rapidly developing nations in Asia, Latin American, Eastern Europe and Africa. Altogether their financial assets grew $5.3 trillion in 2006 in constant exchange rates, or 29%, to a total of $23.6 trillion. That increase accounted for one-quarter of the global growth in financial assets. Since 1990, the total value of financial assets in emerging markets has grown at more than twice the rate of those in developed countries, or 21% and 8% respectively.” –Sara Murray

---------------------------------------

Faced with the new phase of global wealth distribution, some conventional superrich people in the U.S. and Europe seem to be concocting a new scheme, leveraging every conspiracy such as the myth of the Bliderberger and the formation of the superclass.

They seem to be doing so to have the elites in the governments in Asia, Latin American, Eastern Europe and Africa to respect them and invest money from new wealth into their business whose headquarters are positioned in New York and London.

********************************************************************

In Japan, traditionally, the most influential group consists of leaders of the most powerful faction of the Liberal Democratic Party, top leaders of the Federation of Economic Organizations, and top bureaucrats of the central government in addition to those in various sectors with a strong tie with the US Government including US CIA at a very high level.

But, it is Japanese voters and consumers that have discretion.

So, if there is such superclass in the world, it would be a long and winding path for them to control Japanese voters.

For example, Mr. Rothkopf named Mr. Kim Jong-il of North Korea as one of the superclass.

(It is tantamount to believing the 9/11 Terror conspiracy theory and regarding all the US Senators as conspirators of the US Government who must have demolished the WTC.)

Indeed, who would listen to Mr. Kim Jong-il in Asia except North Koreans?

All the Asian citizens would take it as a joke to regard Mr. Kim Jong-il of North Korea as superclass.

It is because they all know that Japan is the superclass in Asia and the world.

(It is hot today in Japan. The weather forecast is always right in Japan, especially when a humble Japanese female announcer delivers it. But, as a Sunday night has no interesting TV programs in Japan nowadays, we had better plan non-nonsense business on Sunday, tomorrow, though it must be hot again.)

Rev 7:12 Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.

Rev 7:13 And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?

Rev 7:14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

Rev 7:15 Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them.

Rev 7:16 They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat.

Rev 7:17 For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.

A Real Man Laughs and Forgives

(http://www.tora-san.jp/index.html : Japanese Movie Hero "Tora-san" with his half-sister "Sakura-chan" living around the Taisyakuten Temple, Tokyo)

A Real Man Laughs and Forgives

The Japanese film series "Otoko-wa Tsurai-yo" (A Real Man Laughs and Forgives) started in 1969 and ended in 1995 as the actor Kiyoshi Atsumi who played the hero “Torajiro” died in 1996, though the director of the title Mr. Yoji Yamada seems to be still active in this industry.

Around 1969 in Japan, one of the remarkable trends in the film industry is a kind of boom around gangster movies.

The background of the era is of course characterized by the global turmoil of the world in 1960’s: the JFK Assassination, the Robert Kennedy Assassination, the Vietnam War, Israel-Arab wars, the Cold War backed by nuclear-warhead intercontinental missiles, and student movements here and there.

Especially, anti-Vietnam War movements drove students into a clash with the police on the street in Tokyo, Paris, and some major cities in the U.S.

In Japan in those days, gangster movies flourished. A handsome “Yakuza” and a dangerously attractive woman on a silver screen enchanted the audience. Indeed it was an era when color TVs were being commercialized.

The director Mr. Yoji Yamada, a graduator of the top university in Japan, however made a kind of comic film featuring Kiyoshi Atsumi who looked like everybody on the street in a downtown of Tokyo.

The hero “Tora the Vagabond” is not a kind of man a career woman would ever respect in whatever sense.

Tora-san has however a keen insight into human nature. He is not a type of man who lies to, betrays, and sells his friend to make big money. He is a kind of man who never hides his anger against those who return evil for good.

The gangster movies that flourished so much in the Japanese society in 1960’s were full of violence exercised by men and women who loved to return evil for good or violently return good for evil for impossibnle honor or chivalry.

A movie theater where a "Yakuza" film was being played was covered by suppressed darkness; but a movie theater where a “Tora-san” film was being played was filled with laughing and smiling.

From 1970’s to 1980’s, ordinary citizens, poor people, and students in Japan gradually left and forgot bloody, desperate, and intoxicating gangster films which were literally fading away along with the memory of the anti-Vietnam War movement; but the "Tora-san" series remained, gaining more fans while TV stations completely overwhelmed the film industry.

Even a first-rate university asked students taking an entrance examination why "Tora-san" never got on a Shinkanse super-express train while peddling and traveling all over Japan.

Indeed, "Tora-san" never drove a Benz with a suspicious car registration plate on.

**************************************************************

While the Tora-san series of the movie was enjoying unfaltering support from the general public, Osamu Tezuka was suffering, since his manga or comic works and animations could not appeal to people any more, though his previous comics for boys and girls established his status as the king of manga in Japan.

How Osamu Tezuka addressed this challenge in early 1970’s is, though, another story, since he died in 1989 leaving a huge volume of manga art, including a story of Buddha and an Old Testament story.

Nonetheless, I think that the movie director Mr. Yoji Yamada and the late Mr. Tezuka Osamu have had something in common: a detestation of the Mafia.

That is all for today.

Yes, I saw the TV news presenting Ms. Caroline Kennedy waking up the ladder into an air plane following Ms. Hillary Rodham Clinton and being followed by Mr. Barack Obama.

She may be the last work of the modern history since 1960’s as there are so many fans of the Kennedys in Japan.

RISKS: G8, ECONOMIC FORUM, AND NORTH KOREA

(The Taishakuten Temple, Tokyo: nationally popular due to the movie "Otoko-wa Tsuraiyo [A Real Man Always Laughs Off]")

RISKS: G8, ECONOMIC FORUM, AND NORTH KOREA

This January WORD ECONOMIC FORUM issued an interesting report on a global risk.

http://opim.wharton.upenn.edu/risk/downloads/WEF_Global_Risks_2008.pdf

I found some interesting figures in it as shown below:

It looks as though people are all coward and timid. No one seems to be expected to act bravely facing a systematic financial crisis. When their fear overcomes their conscience, they will, I am afraid, even resort to a war or a crime called the subprime loan business.

It seems to miss an important factor: the US policy on corn-based- ethanol. However, when a billion Chinese and a billion Indians start to eat as much as 300 million Americans do today, there will be no food security globally. But who can stop them, while Ameriacns are eating so much...

The above figure is very intuitive for understanding what their priority is placed on. Nonetheless I doubt if the figures shown there truly reflect a real state of their concerns. For example, authors of this WORLD ECONOMIC FORUM report might be pretending as if the "US$ Crisis" has no significant impact. Another interesting point is that "China slowdown" and "Climate change" are almost equally weighed.

This figure is critical, since it estimates the number of casualties and victims caused by "Extreme climate change related weather" is less than "Middle East instability" and "Food insecurity."

Anyway, the report concluded with a candid remark:
"Should systemic financial risk lead to a serious deterioration in the world economy, the prospects for collaborative mitigation may be reversed on several fronts simultaneously as attention turns to more immediate concerns."

Still money is threatening mankind.

*******************************************************************

I do not know if global leaders or elites who gathered in Japan early this week had read the above report beforehand.

If so, “money” must have been a main theme of the G8 Summit, since the G8 Summit is a sort of very democratic world-government compared with the paper-tiger group called the Bilderberg.

Anyway, I am very thankful to the G8 leaders who accepted the reference to Japanese abductees by North Korea in its official statement.

Yet, families of the Japanese abductees by North Korea have reportedly showed their disappointment with a weak tone of the reference.

Nonetheless, I encourage them to show gratitude to Japanese Prime Minister Mr. Yasuo Fukuda and US President Mr. George W. Bush for their paying attentions to those victims.

It is because any blame on the Japanese Prime Minister and the US President by families of the abductees will benefit North Korean leaders.

Global citizens must also understand that North Korea has now an ability to sell nuclear-warhead middle-range missiles to any clients if this despotic state thinks it can be completely secretly and lucratively done.

If you laugh at the G8 Summit Meeting, North Korea and terrorists as well as Bilderbergers will also laugh.

Families of the Japanese abductees by North Korea must also join other humanitarian projects to help poor people or victims of wars in the world to prove that they are not self-centered at all.

Mat 7:11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

Mat 7:12 Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.

Traitors, Spies, and Kidnappers

Traitors, Spies, and Kidnappers

The British movie series called “007” might be still big fun for many people.

When I was young, I also thought that a spy could have gorgeous girl friends.

But, of course, I later found that real spies used more often non-gorgeous women for non-nonsense espionage.

Having said so, there is a kind of genius among young women who can look both the way, non-gorgeous and gorgeous, according to the nature of her clandestine mission.

SECTION I: UK SPY DIRECTOR

Do not trust in the British upper class, though the Queen looks innocent.

-----------------------------------------
The Hon. Alexander Allan (born 9 February 1951) is the chairman of the Joint Intelligence Committee of the United Kingdom and Head of Intelligence Assessment….

On 3 July 2008 it was reported that Allan was unconscious and seriously ill in hospital after he collapsed at his home earlier in the week. Government sources said that there was no sign of foul play.[7] It has been suggested that Mr Allan was poisoned by one of several organisations, including Al Qaeda, or the Russia Government but this was initially dismissed by New Scotland Yard.[8] Another theory is that he took an overdose. On 4 July 2008 it was reported that British police were carrying out toxicology tests to determine if Mr Allan had been poisoned.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alex_Allan
-----------------------------------------

The incident was confirmed by media reports, too.

-----------------------------------------
Mr Allan's wife, artist Katie Clemson, died from cancer in November last year.
In the same month he was appointed chairman of the Joint Intelligence Committee, which raised some eyebrows given his civil service background.
Mr Allan collapsed at his home earlier this week and is unconscious and seriously ill in a London hospital.

The Cabinet Office confirmed Mr Allan's condition. Government sources said there were no signs of foul play.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/7489705.stm

-----------------------------------------

If BBC reports that there was no conspiracy, we then should take it as such at least for the time being, since BBC can be trusted more than the British Upper Class.

SECTION II: 400 SPIES AROUND G8 SUMMIT

At Hokkaido, Japan, it is said that there are now 4,000 media people gathering to cover the G8 Conference with leaders from China, India, South Africa, Brazil, and Mexico (G5).

But, you may reasonably suspect that governments in the world must send some spies mingled in the media corps to the G8 Meeting.

Probably, such spies, full time and part-time, account for 10% of the media reporters, journalists, and cameramen. So, there must be 400 spies around the hotel in the Hokkaido where the G8+G5 Meeting is being held.

Of course, a reporter, a journalist, or a cameraman who has simply a friend he or she always frankly talks with without knowing the friend is a spy of a certain country can be regarded as a quasi-spy, too.

Indeed, among G8 leaders, I suppose, only Japan’s Prime Minister Mr. Yasuo Fukuda is not a quasi-spy at all.

SECTION III: Japanese Public Security Investigation Agency

In Japan, there is of course a kind of CIA organization, which is called "Public Security Investigation Agency."

But, it is just a kind of a spy club in a high school compared with US CIA, since the Japanese Constitution does not allow the Government to launch a war overseas.

This is one of big reasons for the fact that North Korea's secret agents could almost freely act in the Japanese society and easily abduct around hundred Japanese citizens who were brought or conveyed secretly into North Korea over the Sea of Japan.

If you are really interested in the case of North Korean’s decades-long clandestine operations of abduction targeting Japanese citizens, you would naturally wonder what happened with the Japanese CIA.

So, you would like to get some authentic information about Japanese CIA.

There are almost no information or books on Japanese CIA being sold on a shelf of at a bookshop, since officially there is no CIA in Japan with literal significance due to the pacifist Constitution.

But, though the Japanese Government seems to hate it, there is one book written by a former Japanese Government official who conducted his duties in quasi-CIA office of the Japanese Government and experienced training by US CIA.

( http://www.amazon.co.jp/%E5%85%AC%E5%AE%89%E8%AA%BF%E6%9F%BB%E5%BA%81%E3%81%AE%E6%B7%B1%E5%B1%A4-%E3%81%A1%E3%81%8F%E3%81%BE%E6%96%87%E5%BA%AB-11-1-%E9%87%8E%E7%94%B0-%E6%95%AC%E7%94%9F/dp/4480424474 )

I refer to this book, since US CIA could not prevent the 9/11 Terror, arrest Mr. Osama bin Laden, and what is worse help the Japanese Government politically correctly handle the North Koreans-manipulating abduction case.

(The book would teach you how to write a report, since reporting is a key to success inside and outside CIA…)

CIA and Japan’s Public Security Investigation Agency must regard this kind of publication as a chance to redeem themselves.

I mean that they should, too, write on North Korea using their full knowledge, say, on the abduction case, for the general public.

They should regain their honor, if they cannot predict future prices of oil, foods, and stocks, or who the next US President will be.

*************************************************************

That is all for today.

Now, the G8 Summit in Japan is in the last phase.

But, who thought a year ago or earlier that Mr. Yasuo Fukuda would play a role of the chairman of the 2008 G8 Summit (due to his loftiness in the Japanese political circle)?

Indeed, mutability of human affairs and vicissitudes of worldly fortune are beyond ability to conceive any spies in this world have.

Judas could not thus foresee what would become of himself, since he never dreamed that Jesus Christ would so simply accept the death on the cross without invoking his power to trigger any helpful miracles.

Judas should have however foreseen that Jesus Christ would resurrect three days after in order to eventually conquer the Roman Empire and become a hero of 2000 years.

It clearly tells the limit of using a spy against a holy matter.

Then, so long; but see you soon, since you may wonder now if Jesus of Nazareth might be a spy the God sent to the world of devils.

Joh 7:9 When he had said these words unto them, he abode still in Galilee.

Joh 7:10 But when his brethren were gone up, then went he also up unto the feast, not openly, but as it were in secret.

Joh 7:11 Then the Jews sought him at the feast, and said, Where is he?

Joh 7:12 And there was much murmuring among the people concerning him: for some said, He is a good man: others said, Nay; but he deceiveth the people.

Joh 7:13 Howbeit no man spake openly of him for fear of the Jews.

Joh 7:14 Now about the midst of the feast Jesus went up into the temple, and taught.

Joh 7:15 And the Jews marvelled, saying, How knoweth this man letters, having never learned?

Joh 7:16 Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me.

Miracle Biofuel Reports Unearthed

(Movie Hero Torajiro [Tora-san] at Shibamata, Katsushika Ward, Tokyo)

Miracle Reports Unearthed

Now the top leaders of China and India have arrived at Hokkaido, Japan, to join the G8 Summit Meeting.

Yet, American media coverage of the G8 Summit looks half-hearted while the Dow Jones Index at NYSE is going down around 11,000 dollars.

On the other hand, the oil price surge seems to have peaked around 140 dollars per barrel.

Maybe, the glory of the U.S. externally conceived has peaked in this era with President Mr. George W. Bush, though the U.S. has passed another Independence Day.

SECTION I: A Confidential World Bank Report

At the G8 Summit Meeting now proceeding in Japan, global leaders must discuss a confidential World Bank report obtained by the Guardian, since it testifies that the US policy on corn-to-ethanol conversion for vehicle fuels has triggered the recent hike of food prices.

------------------
Biofuels have forced global food prices up by 75% - far more than previously estimated - according to a confidential World Bank report obtained by the Guardian.

The figure emphatically contradicts the US government's claims that plant-derived fuels contribute less than 3% to food-price rises.…

The basket of food prices examined in the study rose by 140% between 2002 and this February. The report estimates that higher energy and fertiliser prices accounted for an increase of only 15%, while biofuels have been responsible for a 75% jump over that period….

The report points out biofuels derived from sugarcane, which Brazil specializes in, have not had such a dramatic impact.

Supporters of biofuels argue that they are a greener alternative to relying on oil and other fossil fuels, but even that claim has been disputed by some experts, who argue that it does not apply to US production of ethanol from plants.

http://www.guardian.co.uk/environment/2008/jul/03/biofuels.renewableenergy
------------------

It may be not the Iraqi War but the policy on corn-to-ethanol conversion that President Mr. George W. Bush must be first evaluated in terms of leadership and responsibility to mankind.

Anyway, he has occupied Iraq with the world third largest oil reserves and paved the way for new fuel market along with accepting higher oil prices.

President Mr. George W. Bush did not succeed in oil business when he was young; but as president, he has achieved great performance in the oil-related field, very ironically.

SECTION II: A FOREIGN AFFAIRS REPORT

A year ago, a report from FOREIGN AFFAIRS discussed how to stop the surge of corn prices caused by the demand for corn-based ethanol.

------------------
How Biofuels Could Starve the Poor
C. Ford Runge and Benjamin Senauer
May/June 2007

There were 110 ethanol refineries in operation in the United States at the end of 2006, according to the Renewable Fuels Association. Many were being expanded, and another 73 were under construction. When these projects are completed, by the end of 2008, the United States' ethanol production capacity will reach an estimated 11.4 billion gallons per year. In his latest State of the Union address, President George W. Bush called on the country to produce 35 billion gallons of renewable fuel a year by 2017, nearly five times the level currently mandated….

The push for ethanol and other biofuels has spawned an industry that depends on billions of dollars of taxpayer subsidies, and not only in the United States. In 2005, global ethanol production was 9.66 billion gallons, of which Brazil produced 45.2 percent (from sugar cane) and the United States 44.5 percent (from corn). Global production of biodiesel (most of it in Europe), made from oilseeds, was almost one billion gallons….

The enormous volume of corn required by the ethanol industry is sending shock waves through the food system. (The United States accounts for some 40 percent of the world's total corn production and over half of all corn exports.) In March 2007, corn futures rose to over $4.38 a bushel, the highest level in ten years….

In 2005, the European Union produced 890 million gallons of biodiesel, over 80 percent of the world's total. The EU's Common Agricultural Policy also promotes the production of ethanol from a combination of sugar beets and wheat with direct and indirect subsidies. Brussels aims to have 5.75 percent of motor fuel consumed in the European Union come from biofuels by 2010 and 10 percent by 2020….

The Millennium Development Goals established by the United Nations in 2000 vowed to halve the proportion of the world's chronically underfed population from 16 percent in 1990 to eight percent in 2015. Realistically, however, resorting to biofuels is likely to exacerbate world hunger. Several studies by economists at the World Bank and elsewhere suggest that caloric consumption among the world's poor declines by about half of one percent whenever the average prices of all major food staples increase by one percent….

In March, the U.S. Energy Department announced that it would invest up to $385 million in six biorefineries designed to convert cellulose into ethanol. That is a promising step in the right direction.

If cellulose rather than corn becomes the major source for ethanol used as fuel for cars, situations around poor people in the world might be improved.

But, what is needed now is to stop the sale of corn to the ethanol industry.

It should be discussed today and tomorrow in the G8 Summit being held in Hokkaido.

SECTION III: AN MSNBC REPORT

Yet, the prospect of cellulose ethanol was discussed this March in the MSNBC site.

…Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty, a Republican, said, “What we have now (corn-based ethanol) is going to be viewed as early stage, and what’s coming is going to be much better. And what’s coming is cellulosic ethanol, where you’re going to be able to take not food and make it into fuel, but other sorts of products — it may be corn stalks, switchgrass, woody pulp material, or other things that are not connected to the food chain.”

Pawlenty estimates cellulosic ethanol is “probably three to seven years away” on a widely-available market basis.

“The concern about food-based ethanol is one that we’re mindful of,” he added.

Pawlenty’s fellow Minnesotan, Sen. Amy Klobuchar, a Democrat, said Thursday that ethanol is “clearly a piece of it (the food price increase) because there’s more demand for corn and soybeans. But that’s why in the farm bill we do start with some good incentives to expand into cellulosic. There’s an acknowledgment even from the best corn growers that there’s only so much corn, and that we’re going to have to start expanding into corn stover as well as switchgrass….”

Last week, in a speech to the European Parliament Development Committee, Josette Sheeran, the Executive Director of the UN World Food Program, said her agency now faces a $500 million shortfall “just due to soaring food and fuel costs — up more than 40 percent since (last) June — which will lead to ration cuts unless we receive additional help soon.”

She added that “high food prices have created an urgent situation throughout many developing countries and have directly hit WFP’s ability to respond to those needs.

Indeed, even before the secret report of the World Bank was discovered, people were already talking about the need to switch to cellulose, in addition to influences on the global food market.

The White House must be therefore well aware of this disastrous effect the corn-based ethanol fuels have brought about on the global food market.

US President should explain it to the world at the G8 Summit.

**************************************************************

That is all for today.

You may be busy now as I predicted since this is the season of the G8 Summit and the Olympic Games in the East Asia.

But, a miracle I expect, if so intangible, would surpass these fabulous events, since I visited O-Daiba at the Tokyo Bay and a temple of Shibamata at the Tokyo downtown.

(The movie series titled “Otoko-wa Tsurai-yo” seem to be really fun for Japanese audience and good materials for foreign researchers on Japan or Japanese.

But, when I was young, I was never impressed by heroines who played a dream lover for Tora-san in each work of the title, since they looked too good to be true.

Yet, in these days, I think there can be something too divine to be categorized as being too good to be true.

The Energy Conservation Law Over CO2

(Traveling to a hometown of Tora-san [Tora the Gentleman or Gentleman Tora])

The Energy Conservation Law Over CO2

Yesterday, I visited a famous railroad station annexed to a famous commercial avenue also annexed to a famous Buddhist temple, which are all depicted in a series of famous Japanese movies featuring a street vendor or a vagabond called "Tora."

At night, an NHK TV channel presented environment/ CO2-related program.

As no other interesting TV programs are broadcast nowadays around Tokyo on Sunday nights, I then checked CO2-related sites on the Internet.

SECTION I: CO2 SCIENCE PERFECT?

If a scientist claims correctness and completeness of his theory with 100% confidence, there is always a big missing point.

But, a scientist has presented answers to almost all the questions and doubts on the CO2 theory concerning the global warming with 100% confidence, for example:

-------------------------------
MYTH: Water vapor is the most important, abundant greenhouse gas. So if we’re going to control a greenhouse gas, why don’t we control it instead of carbon dioxide (CO2)?

FACT: Although water vapor traps more heat than CO2, because of the relationships among CO2, water vapor and climate, to fight global warming nations must focus on controlling CO2.

Atmospheric levels of CO2 are determined by how much coal, natural gas and oil we burn and how many trees we cut down, as well as by natural processes like plant growth. Atmospheric levels of water vapor, on the other hand, cannot be directly controlled by people; rather, they are determined by temperatures. The warmer the atmosphere, the more water vapor it can hold. As a result, water vapor is part of an amplifying effect. Greenhouse gases like CO2 warm the air, which in turn adds to the stock of water vapor, which in turn traps more heat and accelerates warming. Scientists know this because of satellite measurements documenting a rise in water vapor concentrations as the globe has warmed.

The best way to lower temperature and thus reduce water vapor levels is to reduce CO2 emissions….

http://www.edf.org/page.cfm?tagID=1011
-------------------------------

In a complicated system called the Earth, the relationship between heat from the sun, heat accumulated in the ground and the ocean, heat carried and absorbed by water and its vapor, heat received and emitted by CO2, and their total and local effects might not be so simple as is specified by simple equation or descriptions.

SECTION 2: HISTORY AROUND GLOBAL WARMING

As is usual, we have to review the trend and transition of human awareness on global warming in a time series.

The following site is recommended, since it looks like very honestly written based on human conscience:

-------------------------------
The Public and Climate Change

Already in the 1930s, many people noticed that their weather was getting warmer.

Few connected this with human activity, and still fewer feared any harm. Gradually scientists, aided by science journalists, informed the minority of educated people that modern civilization might cause global warming, sometime far in the future.

In the early 1970s, the question began to concern a wider public. By then most people had come to fear planet-wide harm from technology in general. Now an onslaught of droughts suggested we were already damaging the climate. The issue was confused, however, when experts debated whether pollution would bring global warming or, instead, an appalling new ice age.

By the end of the 1970s, scientific opinion had settled on warming as most likely, probably becoming evident around the year 2000 — that is, in a remote and uncertain future. (On continuation page:) Some scientists nevertheless went directly to the public to demand action to avert the warming, and a few politicians took up the issue.

During the hot summer of 1988, a few outspoken scientists, convinced by new evidence that rapid climate change might be imminent, made the public fully aware of the problem. Scientific discussions now became entangled with fierce political debates over scientific uncertainty and the costs of regulating greenhouse gases.

It was not until around 2005 that American media reported clearly that scientists had resolved the controversy, while films and ominous weather events gave citizens a better idea of what global warming might mean. The majority of Americans (except on the political right) had moved gradually to a vague feeling that some kind of action should be taken. Stronger worries had grown among people in most other countries, and among many thoughtful policy-makers in the United States itself.

http://www.aip.org/history/climate/Public.htm
-------------------------------

It must be the Energy Conservation Law rather than CO2-light/heat theory that more emphasis should be placed on.

Human activities using any forms of energy discharge the very energy to the environment.

Any mechanical work in the human sphere is conducted in the air not in the vacuum, so that the energy used in work and operation of machine would be discharged to the air in the form of heat.

Historical accumulation of the amount of these discharged heat is enormous.

A big city or an industrial zone itself is a heating generator which often continues to work in seven days a week, all year.

If no CO2 is emitted from such cities and industrial zones, the total and historical amount of heat emitted to the air would surely disturb the climate and the environment.

Therefore, if every theory on CO2 is correct or reasonable, we have to still respect the Energy Conservation Law.

SECTION 3: ECONOMICS UP TO 2050

Now in the G8 Summit Meeting being held here in Japan, global top leaders are discussing the global-warming-related-CO2 business up to the year 2050.

If you have any friends working around this most important international meeting in the world, I hope that you would suggest them to check the following site, since the G8 Summit Conference is more important than the United Nations Security Council.

-------------------------------
…How much wealth will people in 2050 have at their disposal for adapting to whatever climate change may happen? A crude estimate derived by calculating a compounded average economic growth rate of 3 percent per year from now until 2050 projects that the world's $47 trillion economy will grow to $163 trillion. Today, the global average income per capita is $7,200. In 2050, assuming 10 billion inhabitants, average income will more than double to $16,300. If efforts to slow global warming reduce economic growth rates by half of a percent, total world product would drop to $133 trillion and average incomes would be $3,000 less. One stab at determining whether or not it is worth slowing down economic growth to prevent climate change is to ask if global warming is expected cause more than $30 trillion in economic damage each year by 2050.

Finally, what about fostering an energy technology revolution? Shellenberger and Nordhaus assert that the old "pollution paradigm" of environmentalism is played out because it frames the climate change and energy challenges "as a forced choice between poverty and environmental ruin." What we need now, they argue, is an explicitly pro-growth, pro-prosperity politics for the 21st Century. So they are advocating a ten-year $300 billion energy research program as the way to address climate change. "The goal of the program," they claim, "is to bring the price of clean energy down to the price of coal and natural gas as quickly as possible." Another advantage is that emissions from rapidly developing economies like China and India could be cut if low carbon energy can be made as cheap as fossil fuels.

http://www.reason.com/news/show/127279.html

-------------------------------

From the beginning, it is mostly Europeans and European Americans who have enjoyed the fruits of the Industrial Revolution up to now.

They have caused this climate change, but not Africans, Asians and American Natives.

It is not China and India but mostly Europeans and European Americans who have enjoyed the fruits of the Industrial Revolution up to now while emitting so much heat and CO2 to the environment.

If China and India, in addition to Africans, Asians and American Natives, have decided to enjoy the fruits of the Industrial Revolution as much as Europeans and European Americans have done until now, you cannot stop them.

Indeed, you cannot stop them if they want to sacrifice the environment and the climate for their future economic prosperity.

Before they die, they will surely want to enjoy the materially rich life Europeans and European Americans have been enjoying.

Only God, Allah, the Christ, or religions can persuade poor Chinese, Indians, and other Africans, Asians and American Natives to sacrifice their material dream of prosperity for prevention of the global temperature rise of at most one to two degrees.

****************************************************************

The sequence of the global warming is as follows; thus solution must be directed in its order:
(1) Human Godless Desire
(2) Wrong Application of Industrial Revolution
(3) Sinful development of technology and commercialism
(4) Unregulated use of energy, such as electricity and cars
(5) Unregulated use of crude oil, coal, and natural gas
(6) Inevitable emission of heat and CO2
(7) Increase in the global temperature

First, the human godless desire should be tackled and targeted.

G8 leaders should refer to EEE Reporter, if they want to avoid any horrible miracle upon them.

(That is all for today, since I am now thinking about what miracle I encountered yesterday at a downtown of Tokyo beside a big river called the Edo-gawa River.

And, remember that when I wrote "a miracle could happen at any time" and somebody laughed at it a month ago or so after the Great Sichuan Earthquake in China, a great earthquake occurred in the northern part of the Main Island of Japan, south of the Hokkaido Island.
