"in vain the net is spread" - American Judaists and American Dream

Tokyo Views

American Judaists and American Dream

Judaists in America are absolutely unique people in the world.

They might play a key role in the future of mankind, since God might judge the whole mankind through Judaists in America.
AMERICAN JEWS IN DENIAL ABOUT GOD
Exclusive: Joseph Farah reveals 'supernatural reality of Israel'

While finding a supermajority (82 percent) of white U.S. evangelicals believe God gave Israel to the Jewish people, the survey reveals only 40 percent of American Jews believe that.
Even discounting the fact that 23 percent of American Jews say they don’t believe in God, with another 5 percent declining to say, evangelicals still believe the reconstituted state of Israel is a gift from God in bigger numbers than Jews (82 percent to 55 percent).

If Judaists believe in American Dream more than their historical glory as the elect chosen by God, something terrible might happen.
18 Statistics That Show What It’s Like To Be Jewish In America In 2013
The Pew Research Center released a survey of American Jews Tuesday.
A Portrait of Jewish Americans survyed 3,475 Jews, including 689 who identify as having no religion, between February and June.

Indeed they look like more Americans than Jewdaists.  If Israel should have population of Arabs more that that of Jewdaists, American Judaists would lose their attachment to Judaism.

Or conversely, people surrounding them might not think that American Judaists are unique any more.  They have faith in God like others as they don't have faith in God like others.
On April 3, 2006, the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights announced its finding that incidents of antisemitism are a "serious problem" on college campuses throughout the United States. The Commission recommended that the U.S. Department of Education's Office for Civil Rights protect college students from antisemitism through vigorous enforcement of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and further recommended that Congress clarify that Title VI applies to discrimination against Jewish students.[59]
American attitudes towards Jews
Polls and studies over the past two decades point to a steady decrease in antisemitic attitudes, beliefs, and manifestations among the American public. A 1992 survey by the Anti-Defamation League of B'nai B'rith showed that 20 percent of Americans—between 30 to 40 million adults—held antisemitic views, as against 29 percent in 1964. However, another survey by the same organization concerning antisemitic incidents shows that the curve has risen without interruption since 1986.
The number of Americans holding antisemitic views declined markedly six years later when another ADL study classified only 12 percent of the population—between 20 to 25 million adults—as "most anti-Semitic." Confirming the findings of previous surveys, both studies also found that African Americans were significantly more likely than whites to hold antisemitic views, with 34 percent of blacks classified as "most anti-Semitic," compared to 9 percent of whites in 1998.
According to an Anti-Defamation League survey 14 percent of U.S. residents had antisemitic views. The 2005 survey found "35 percent of foreign-born Hispanics" and "36 percent of African-Americans hold strong antisemitic beliefs, four times more than the 9 percent for whites".[64] The 2005 Anti-Defamation League survey includes data on Hispanic attitudes, with 29% being most antisemitic (vs. 9% for whites and 36% for blacks); being born in the United States helped alleviate this attitude: 35% of foreign-born Hispanics, but only 19% of those born in the US.[65]
During 2004, a number of prominent public figures accused Jewish members of the Bush administration of tricking America into war against Saddam Hussein to help Israel. U.S. Senator Ernest Hollings (D-South Carolina) claimed that the US action against Saddam was undertaken 'to secure Israel.' Television talk show host Pat Buchanan said a 'cabal' had managed 'to snare our country in a series of wars that are not in America’s interests.'"[57] Hollings wrote an editorial in the May 6, 2004 Charleston Post and Courier, where he argued that Bush invaded Iraq possibly because "spreading democracy in the Mideast to secure Israel would take the Jewish vote from the Democrats."

To the eyes of Americans who think they are not Judaists, Judaists are still different.  But the more they access American Dream, the more they come to become nonchalant about Judaists.  African Americans, Hispanics born outside the US, and students in general are still far from American Dream; they mind queer neighbors who are called Judaists or Jews so strangely.

But God makes still Judaists keep special traits among other Americans, since God first chose Hebrews as the elite in the ancient world.

Nonetheless this distinctions seems to become more and more nominal and superficial.

"grace for grace" - American Faith

Tokyo Bay

American Faith

If Americans do not have faith in God, it might turn to another China.

In China air pollution makes it dangerous even to freely breathe on the street in its capital Beijing.  But in America you can breathe pleasantly without a need to hide your religion unlike in China.

God in America: The PBS Special and a Conversation With Stephen Prothero

Posted: October 11, 2010 06:20 PM

According to the PBS special, not only is God in America, but God, or belief in God, is woven into the very fabric of American culture and politics. So much so, observes Prothero, "we are no longer a country of two political parties but two political-religious parties."
...

The irony is this: America is religiously diverse. In Prothero's words, "In the supermarket of religion, America has a bigger store." It's the Walmart of religion. Instead of a strength, however, embraced by Americans as a distinction worth celebrating, many religious people in America are threatened by it, even react against it. But, in the words of the Hans Kung, "There will be no peace until there is peace among the religions." Nor will there be peace in America. While most Americans believe in God and regard themselves as spiritual people, my own feeling is millions of them are abandoning organized religion precisely because, instead of embracing and cultivating the diversity that is America, the major religions want to homogenize everyone and everything. It is this that causes division, even human destruction. What is supposed to bring sanity to this world is itself the cause of most insanity. It is madness.

Men are equal under God.  Every American is all equal, but there are rich Americans and poor Americans no matter what faith they have.

But it is a trap.  Of course, faith in God of the rich is false and faith in God of the poor can be true as is everywhere on the earth.

Do not trust rich Americans if they claim they are Christians, since they are not true Christians.

So, there are only two types: false faith and true faith even in the US.

Jews and Christians are respected as "People of the Book," but they have wrong beliefs and only partialrevelation.
Islam and Christianity are false interpretations and extensions of Judaism.
Judaism is a true religion, but with incomplete revelation. Islam is a false religion.
http://www.religionfacts.com/islam/comparison_charts/islam_judaism_christianity.htm

The most important distinction is found in a question about afterlife.

Judaists have no uniform answer among themselves.

However, once you admit God exists and He watches us, judges us, and handles us properly.  You have to expect that God will give us something that is the most important, eternal life, since God must have eternal life for Himself and an uncounted amount of eternal life for us.

So, then it is a little strange that Judaists do not believe that God will surely give them eternal life if they satisfy Him by their living righteous lives on the earth.  On the other hand, Christianity and Islam stand on this promise.  God will surely reward good Christians and good Muslims with eternal life.

Power of God rests on His function to have a man conquer death, since death is the last and largest problem for a man.  If he cannot conquer death, his wealth, worldly reputation and titles, and happiness in this world look nothing.

However, there is a danger that if a man does not believe in afterlife, he might try to enjoy his life on the earth as much as possible no matter what atrocity he might cause.

Therefore, true Christians and true Muslims must be safer than true Judaists who are allowed not to believe in afterlife.

Anyway, Judas was neither a Christian nor a Muslim; he was a Jewdaist.

"as white as snow" - Can a Jewdaist Become a Christian?

Tokyo

Can a Jewdaist Become a Christian?

What does Judaism tell about money?
Jewish View of Money
The Torah manner of giving charity, respecting others' property, and dealing honestly in business.
by Rabbi Aryeh Kaplan
One's love for God must exceed his love for all material things. We are commanded, "Love the Lord your God… with all your might" (Deut. 6:5) -- that is, even at the cost of all your wealth. Therefore, there are times when a person must be ready to sacrifice all his possessions for the sake of God, even though he is not required to give his life.
http://www.aish.com/jl/i/fw/Jewish_View_of_Money.html

Judaism puts God above money.  But it is a matter of course.  Why must it be emphasized especially?  Even pagans know that God is above money, if they admit God exists.
Jewish views of poverty, wealth and charity
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Over the course of Jewish history, different attitudes have been held towards poverty and wealth. Unlike Christianity, in which some strands have viewed poverty as virtuous and desirable, Jews have generally viewed poverty negatively. Jacobs and Greer assert that "[i]n general, Jewish texts have portrayed poverty as an unjustifiable burden."[1] In contrast to the consistently negative view of poverty, Kravitz and Olitzky describe a rapidly changing attitude towards acceptance of wealth as desirable as the Hebrews transitioned from being nomadic shepherds to farmers and ultimately to city dwellers.[2]
In Kol ben Levi, the author writes, "There are two trials before the individual: the test of wealth and the test of poverty... Both are difficult... but the test of wealth is greater than (the test of) poverty."
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jewish_views_of_poverty,_wealth_and_charity

Judaism was originally for benefit and merit of Hebrews and Israelites.  They asked their God to save them, protect them, and enrich them.  Partly because Judaists believed that their God could rescue them in poverty, protect them from strong enemies, and enrich them satisfactorily they loved their God.  It was not to make others, other tribes, and races rich and happy.  But Christ Jesus told to love God and make others, other tribes, and races rich and happy as much as they were.  Ordinary Israelites could not naturally accept Him.
What does Judaism say about money

July 25, 2010
During this economic crisis, Judaism has a interesting view on money. As we know there is no shortage of input from how to invest your money to how to file for bankruptcy. But what actually does Judaism say about money even in a time of crisis? Does Judaism teach the view of Capitalism, Socialism, or Communism when it comes to money?
Judaism has the view of Capitalism but with a conscience. Capitalism is sometimes associated with survival of the fittest, winner takes all, all is fair in love and war. Meaning it can sometimes be equated to only the strong will survive with no regard to the weak or the poor. Judaism believes that there has to be a sense of morality along with Capitalism. Meaning you don't step on others to get ahead but you grab their hand and take them along with you if possible. The Jewish nation is always one of the first if not the first to lend a hand to other nations in time of tragedy. In the tragedy in Haiti, Israel was one of the first to respond when everybody else was waiting to see what they ought to do.
The Torah teaches that the key to Jewish living is keeping the 613 laws in the Torah. A big part of that is helping your fellowman. The Jews believe that God has created a world that has good and evil and man has free choice. Free choice to lift this world up to make a difference. They also believe that the Torah is God's infinite wisdom to every part of life. So even in today's economy with millions of people out of work and people just barely getting by, Judaism teaches that the Jewish tradition is to lift the world up by helping them with a need.
http://www.examiner.com/article/what-does-judaism-say-about-money
This sounds like a voice of the Devil.  If you don't deny your desire to be rich, no matter how much you try to help the poor, it is tantamount to pretending to do charity work.

The essence of teaching by Christ Jesus is to abandon a will to be rich.  Without this will, you cannot save the poor and make them as rich as you are.

Indeed Jesus told a rich young man to sell all his assets and give all the money he gets in return to the poor and then follow Him as a poor man.

So, a Jewsaist who refuses to be a poor man for purpose cannot be a follower of Christ Jesus.

"but of God" - Future of Isreal

Imperial Palace Plaza Park, Tokyo

Future of Israel

It seems that everything is going well for Israel.

Surrounding Islamic nations have all lost power and potential to attack and destroy Israel.  The recent revolutionary movement in the Islamic Middle East has resulted in producing a situation simply desirable for Israel.  Muslims are all busy building a democratic social system in their own countries or entering a civil war to expel dangerously Islamic politicians.

Though Egyptians elected a very Islamic president who could be a threat to Israel, he was soon removed by the Egyptian military.  Syria could further strengthen its tie with Iran and other anti-Israel factions in the Islamic world, but the country occupying a land with a history as long as Israel was thrown into a bloody civil war.  Israel is now safer than in any other period of time.

Even Iran is toward improving its diplomatic relation with the US, the largest supporter of Israel.  Russia led by Putin is cautious in handling its Muslim population due to past acts of Islamic terror, thus refraining from joining some Islamic movement to destroy Israel.  Saudi Arabia, whose security has been intensified because of the American War on Terror, owes so much to the US, thus no intention to make war against the coalition of the US and Israel.  And, Pakistan with full of dangerous Muslims is under an influence of Saudi Arabia who is a big donor to the religious sector of Pakistan.  And, AlQaeda has never launched a full scale guerrilla war against Israel for some mysterious reasons.  In summary, there are no serious and substantial enemies for Israel now.  It is truly a historical moment!

But there is a possibility that Israel will become a kind of Islamic country due to an increase of Muslims in its population:

This raises the second concern, what many feel is the most acute existential threat to Israel's survival as a Jewish state. For at least two decades now, thoughtful Israelis have worried that Israel cannot be a democracy, a Jewish State, and Greater Israel, for a simple reason. They could see that the demographic trends would eventually produce an Arab population majority in the combined territory between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea. That was twenty years ago. Now, "eventually" has arrived. There are roughly 6 million Jewish citizens of Israel. If we combine Israeli Arab citizens (about 1.6 million, or slightly over 20 percent of all Israelis) and the Palestinian populations in the West Bank, Gaza, and East Jerusalem (4.4 million), the total is now about the same as the Jewish population (or even slightly higher). And the Arab population growth rate is higher (in fact, among Israeli Arabs, significantly so). In a single bi-national state, Arabs would vote -- democratically -- to eliminate the Jewish character of the state. This is why a growing number of West Bank Palestinians, particularly youth and intellectuals, are now calling for a single unitary state. And it is why President Obama declared in Israel on March 21, "Given the demographics west of the Jordan River, the only way for Israel to endure and thrive as a Jewish and democratic state is through the realization of an independent and viable Palestine."
http://www.theatlantic.com/international/archive/2013/05/all-fall-down-the-uncertain-future-of-the-only-solution-for-israel-and-palestine/275811/

Another issue is what is symbolized by Dubai.  Europeans would leverage this sort of production of wealth in the Middle East.  The destination of the Arab Spring movement must be economic success combined with democracy in Islamic nations.  Influences of economic success of Muslims surrounding Israel would accelerate erosion of state structure of Israel.  Eventually, Israelis would find that they cannot compete with wealth the Arabs and Muslims will newly acquire through Dubai-type success.  It will push many Judaists out of Israel which cannot provide for Judaists any superiority over Muslims.

And finally and very probably, the US will become more Judaistic.  Christ Jesus told to hate money but love God, while Judaism never orders such a drastic act.  Americans will use the term God more often than Christ Jesus.  Most of American Christians will soon forget that Christ Jesus is God.  They will become a kind of Judaists.  Then they will not mind if a majority of population in Israel are Muslims so long as Israel is an independent country under an influence of the US and Americans can safely and freely travel to Jerusalem where Judaist legacies are preserved against Islamic antagonism.

In near future, if the US becomes a kind of Judaist country while Israel becomes a kind of Arab country, no Muslims find an enemy in Judaists.

But was it prophesied in any holy books?
