"and she repented not" - Half Material and Half Spiritual, Once

Mt. Fuji, Japan

Half Material and Half Spiritual, Once

The human mind itself is an enigma for human beings.

It is not a natural consequence of physical, chemical, and biological mechanisms working in the brain.  It works in connection with the spiritual world, since the mind senses spiritual phenomena.  For example, a man may feel something familiar with him beyond time and space, which cannot be explained in a scientific manner.

Before the development of the modern science, people were living in environment they perceived as a kind of a mixture of the sear natural domain and the spiritual domain.  They sometimes felt a spirit, a phantom, or an angel in it

In The Old Testament, angels sometimes appeared to Abraham, Issac, and Jacob.  Spiritual figures must have been familiar around them in their daily lives.

But today, the science could explain every phenomenon of the nature.  People know that it is not angels or devils but the natural laws and force that move and change the nature.  Today, even some priests, monks, and other religious professionals take spiritual matters just as items of knowledge.  They don't feel any spiritual force working in the human world.   For them, Christ Jesus, the Buddha, etc. are all strange people who believed the spiritual world they cannot feel or believe.   But as knowledge they learn words of Christ Jesus, the Buddha, etc. to be priests or monks as professions for better living in this world.

But such unfaithful people might like to think if this universe is finite or infinite, since they are essentially material people who believe only the value of material things and matters.

So, one of followers of the Buddha asked his teacher as to whether this universe was finite or infinite.  The Buddha answered that he would not discuss whether this universe was finite or infinite because such knowledge never saved people.

The Buddha said, "If somebody was shot by an arrow, you would not discuss material aspects, features, and value of the arrow, but you should give him medical treatment as soon as possible."

And the Buddha made it clear, "That is why I do not discuss if this universe is finite or infinite.  So you must remember that I do not teach if this universe is finite or infinite."

Indeed, Christ Jesus did not discuss if this universe was finite or infinite.  Rather, Christ Jesus behaved just one of those people who were living in the world without knowing the modern science, that is, in the world half material and half spiritual.

Judaism, Christianity, and Islam were all born and established in the eras when people perceived the world as half material and half spiritual.  Accordingly, people today are losing close connectivity between their daily livings and contents of the holy books of these religions.

So, we need a new religion or a new holy book that even mentions whether this universe is finite or infinite to revive connectivity between minds of people of today, who have knowledge of the modern science, and contents of the holy religion.

The Buddha, living 2,500 years ago, could see no use in primitive scientific knowledge.  Christ Jesus, living 2,000 years ago, could see no use in primitive scientific knowledge.  The founder of Islam, living 1,500 years or so ago, could see no use in primitive scientific knowledge.

But today, we see some or significant use in the advanced scientific knowledge, since mad scientists and evil politicians and business leaders could abuse the modern science to satisfy their sinful desire.  We have to deal with even future science to prevent future disasters caused by irresponsible science and evil spirits.

But, as you know, this infinite universe is expanding to infinity at an accelerated pace.  Even evil spirits will be finally lost there forever.

"I have broken thy yoke" - The Buddha and a Cattleman

Haneda Airport on Tokyo Bay

The Buddha and a Cattleman

A man in charge of taking care of cattle for a owner of them was listening to the Buddha.

The Buddha said that one should not be trapped by desire generated in his mind or toward material riches and he should live avoiding every evil act to reach enlightenment like a tree flowing in a big river to finally reach the sea without being carried out to a shore or being rotten while floating.

The Buddha concluded that one should leave all the worldly matters behind to attain the Buddhahood.  Otherwise, the Buddha added, you would be bound by all the yokes of this world.

So, the cattleman asked to the Buddha to accept him as his disciple.  The Buddha agreed but said, "First, you have to take the cattle back to the owner of them."

But the cattleman said, "Allow me to leave them as they are, since they will go back by themselves to calves kept in the owner's farm."

However, the Buddha insisted: "Yet, you must bring them back to the owner by yourself."

So, the cattleman obeyed the word of the Buddha to lead the cattle to the owner's farm, and then he became a follower of the Buddha.

Later this man left the group of followers of the Buddha to pursue his way to enlightenment to be eventually counted as one of major Arhats, namely those who reached higher spiritual status just behind the Buddha.

I suppose that the owner of the cattle would not help demons attack and destroy the cattleman during his ascetic training to finally become an Arhat.

In addition, even today cattle are regarded as holy animals in India.

Jer 2:19 Thine own wickedness shall correct thee, and thy backslidings shall reprove thee: know therefore and see that it is an evil thing and bitter, that thou hast forsaken the LORD thy God, and that my fear is not in thee, saith the Lord GOD of hosts.
Jer 2:20 For of old time I have broken thy yoke, and burst thy bands; and thou saidst, I will not transgress; when upon every high hill and under every green tree thou wanderest, playing the harlot.
Jer 2:21 Yet I had planted thee a noble vine, wholly a right seed: how then art thou turned into the degenerate plant of a strange vine unto me?

"go into the land of Israel" - The Richest Man in the World vs. an Angel

Tokyo Haneda International Airport

The Richest Man in the World vs. an Angel

There are no rich men in the world who live in the sky.

You may design and produce your own air plane that can stay in the air for 24 hours a day, seven days per week.  Your plane can be refueled in the air.  Foods and other supplies can be delivered to your plane by other small planes or helicopters.  Then you can live in the air 24 hours a day, seven days per week, if you are rich and able to pay necessary costs.

But how much does it cost?  In addition to such a super plane, you must have your own air port and dedicated personnel for services you need in the air.  The costs must be enormous.

But how wonderful it is to live in a flying residence!  Under your feet, you can check the White House, Paris, and even the Vatican while you are practicing putting.

But how much does it cost to live like an angel in the sky till your death?

Living in the International Space Station is not practical, since you will lose muscles and receive too much radiation from cosmic rays.  Probably 9,000 meters high should be suitable as Mt. Everest is 8,850 meters high.

Anyway you cannot be an angel if you are the richest man in the world today.

Mat 2:17 Then was fulfilled that which was spoken by Jeremy the prophet, saying,
Mat 2:18 In Rama was there a voice heard, lamentation, and weeping, and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children, and would not be comforted, because they are not.
Mat 2:19 But when Herod was dead, behold, an angel of the Lord appeareth in a dream to Joseph in Egypt,
Mat 2:20 Saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and go into the land of Israel: for they are dead which sought the young child's life.
Mat 2:21 And he arose, and took the young child and his mother, and came into the land of Israel.

"but thy disciples fast not?" - What the Buddha Said and What Jesus Said

Tokyo Bay

What the Buddha Said and What Jesus Said

The Buddha said that there were four type of people.

The first type of people are born poor and lowly but do many sinful things and hate holy beggars to fall into the hell after their death.

The second type of people are born poor and lowly but do many righteous things and respect holy beggars to enter the paradise after their death.

The third type of people are born rich and decently but do many sinful things and hate holy beggars to fall into the hell after their death.

The fourth type of people are born rich and decently but do many righteous things and respect holy beggars to enter the paradise after their death.

However, Christ Jesus said that the rich cannot enter Heaven but poor people are accepted by Heaven.

If a man born poor did many sinful things, he would most probably become rich.  If a man born rich did many righteous things, he would most probably become poor.

Righteous things include an act of giving all (or some) of his money to the poor and accumulating wealth in Heaven.

So, I once indicated an equation for conservation of wealth:

One's total wealth =  One's wealth in this world + One's wealth accumulated in Heaven

And when you die, all your wealth in this world vanishes away and you have only wealth accumulated in Heave.  If you have no wealth in Heave, you cannot enter Heaven.

Mar 2:17 When Jesus heard it, he saith unto them, They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
Mar 2:18 And the disciples of John and of the Pharisees used to fast: and they come and say unto him, Why do the disciples of John and of the Pharisees fast, but thy disciples fast not?
Mar 2:19 And Jesus said unto them, Can the children of the bridechamber fast, while the bridegroom is with them? as long as they have the bridegroom with them, they cannot fast.

"concerning this child" - Heaven Exists

Tokyo

Heaven Exists

What does Isalm teach about Heven or the paradise in the other world?
Jannah (Arabic: جنّة‎ Jannah), an eternal place for Muslims, is the Islamic conception of paradise. The Arabic word Jannah is a shortened version meaning simply "Garden". According to Islamic eschatology, after death, one will reside in the grave until the appointed resurrection on Yawm al-Qiyāmah. Muslims believe that the treatment of the individual in the life of the grave will be according to his or her deeds in the worldly life. Jannah is often compared to Christian concepts of Heaven. According to Muslim belief, everything one longs for in this world will be there in Paradise.

What does Judaism teach about Heven or the paradise in the other world?
Shamayim (שמים), the Hebrew word for "heaven", denotes a component of the cosmos, the other elements being the earth (erets) and the underworld (sheol). Shamayim is the dwelling place of God and other heavenly beings and, in post-Hebrew Bible literature (including the Christian New Testament), the abode of the righteous dead.
The Biblical authors pictured the earth as a flat disk floating in water, with the heavens above and the underworld below.[2] The raqiya (firmament), a solid inverted bowl above the earth, coloured blue by the cosmic ocean, kept the waters above the earth from flooding the world.[3] From about 300 BCE the three-tiered cosmos was largely replaced by a newer Greek model which saw the earth as a sphere at the centre of a set of seven concentric heavens, one for each visible planet plus the sun and moon, with the realm of God in an eighth and highest heaven, but although several Jewish works from this period have multiple heavens, as do some New Testament works, none has exactly the formal Greek system.

How did Christ Jesus refer to Heaven?
Mark 10:21 Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me.
Mark 11:25 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
Mark 11:26 But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.
Mark 12:25 For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage; but are as the angels which are in heaven.
Mark 13:27 And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.
Mark 13:32 But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.
Mark 16:19 So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.

So, if you respect these religions, you would naturally believe existence of Heaven.

But we cannot enter Heaven as a living man.  Only our soul can.  Heaven is not a material world consisting of elemental particles, atoms, molecules, etc.  We have to leave our physical bodies in this world to be accepted in Heaven.

"Mary, and Joseph, and the babe" - God is Miracle

Tokyo

God is Miracle

It is apparent that God exists.

There is no doubt about existence of God who created this universe and more, including the spiritual world.

But why must God exist?  If God did not exist, of course, this universe doesn't exist and hence we, mankind, don't exist.

This is the last question for mankind.  Why must God exist, though without God there would be nothing?  In the case, there is no space and time.  Even no spirits exist.  No angels and devils should exist.  It is total naught.

We cannot even imagine the world without God, since the world doesn't exist and we don't exist.  No stars, no sun, and no moon are in the sky.  And there would be no sky at all.

In addition, though God exists, this world looks incomplete.  Among human beings created by God, there are many bad guys.  In the spiritual world, there are evil spirits.  What God has created actually includes such horrible negative factors.  But, if God does not exist, even no bad guys and no devils exist.  Then it looks like it is more perfect without God.

So, the answer is that the existence of God is beyond our understanding.  We cannot know why God must exist.  And further, we cannot understand why God has created this incomplete world.

By the way, this evening I saw three cars at one location of a narrow path in a city.  One was going to enter a garage of a house on the path; another is going out from a small parking lot to the path; and the other is slowly passing by me.

All these cars have two "0"s on their license plates that have four-digit numbers on them explicitly except that the fourth digit with 0 is not indicated (ex. 67-89 or 1-23).

These three cars have such numbers as 11-00, 50-50, and 6-00.

The probability of XX-00 is 9/10,000; the probability of Y0-Y0 is 9/10,000, and (0)Z-00 is 9/10,000.

And, all the cases happened one time at one location: 27/1,000,000,000,000 or 27 per trillion, or one in 37 billion.

If I see 1,000 cars per day, 37 billion cars need 37 million days, which means 100,000 years.

Therefore, this evening an event that would occur once in 100 thousand years in Japan has really happened just before my eyes without being known by anybody, including drivers of those cars, since I was only at a position where I could read all these licence plates of the cars.

And if God did not exist, there would be no probability and no possibilities of anything.  Conversely, God exists with all the probabilities covering 100% perfect to 0% of total incompleteness.  I may be positioned at 0.000000001%.

Luk 2:16 And they came with haste, and found Mary, and Joseph, and the babe lying in a manger.
