"Jesus answered" - True Meaning of Christ Jesus's Death on the Cross

Around Tokyo

True Meaning of Christ Jesus's Death on the Cross

Christ Jesus became an enemy of Herod Antipas who had previously ordered the death of John the Baptist.  So, when He visited Nazareth, He was almost killed by people subject to Herod Antipas.  They tried to push Christ Jesus from a cliff, although He could walk away from the dangerous scene.
Luke 4:
16 He went to Nazareth, where he had been brought up, and on the Sabbath day he went into the synagogue, as was his custom. He stood up to read, 17 and the scroll of the prophet Isaiah was handed to him. Unrolling it, he found the place where it is written:
18 “The Spirit of the Lord is on me,
because he has anointed me
to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners
and recovery of sight for the blind,
to set the oppressed free,
19 to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”[f]
20 Then he rolled up the scroll, gave it back to the attendant and sat down. The eyes of everyone in the synagogue were fastened on him.21 He began by saying to them, “Today this scripture is fulfilled in your hearing.”
22 All spoke well of him and were amazed at the gracious words that came from his lips. “Isn’t this Joseph’s son?” they asked.
23 Jesus said to them, “Surely you will quote this proverb to me: ‘Physician, heal yourself!’ And you will tell me, ‘Do here in your hometown what we have heard that you did in Capernaum.’”
24 “Truly I tell you,” he continued, “no prophet is accepted in his hometown. 25 I assure you that there were many widows in Israel in Elijah’s time, when the sky was shut for three and a half years and there was a severe famine throughout the land. 26 Yet Elijah was not sent to any of them, but to a widow in Zarephath in the region of Sidon. 27 And there were many in Israel with leprosy[g] in the time of Elisha the prophet, yet not one of them was cleansed—only Naaman the Syrian.”
28 All the people in the synagogue were furious when they heard this.29 They got up, drove him out of the town, and took him to the brow of the hill on which the town was built, in order to throw him off the cliff.30 But he walked right through the crowd and went on his way.

But it is unlikely that Herod Antipas gave up the idea to kill Christ Jesus.  He must have involved priests in Jerusalem into his plot.  So, the Jewish authority in Jerusalem sent spies around and in the band of Christ Jesus.
Mark 12
13 And they send unto him certain of the Pharisees and of the Herodians, to catch him in his words.
14 And when they were come, they say unto him, Master, we know that thou art true, and carest for no man: for thou regardest not the person of men, but teachest the way of God in truth: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?
15 Shall we give, or shall we not give? But he, knowing their hypocrisy, said unto them, Why tempt ye me? bring me a penny, that I may see it.
16 And they brought it. And he saith unto them, Whose is this image and superscription? And they said unto him, Caesar's.
17 And Jesus answering said unto them, Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's. And they marvelled at him.
18 Then come unto him the Sadducees, which say there is no resurrection; and they asked him, saying,
19 Master, Moses wrote unto us, If a man's brother die, and leave his wife behind him, and leave no children, that his brother should take his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother.
20 Now there were seven brethren: and the first took a wife, and dying left no seed.
21 And the second took her, and died, neither left he any seed: and the third likewise.
22 And the seven had her, and left no seed: last of all the woman died also.
23 In the resurrection therefore, when they shall rise, whose wife shall she be of them? for the seven had her to wife.
24 And Jesus answering said unto them, Do ye not therefore err, because ye know not the scriptures, neither the power of God?
25 For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage; but are as the angels which are in heaven.
26 And as touching the dead, that they rise: have ye not read in the book of Moses, how in the bush God spake unto him, saying, I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob?
27 He is not the God of the dead, but the God of the living: ye therefore do greatly err.
28 And one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, and perceiving that he had answered them well, asked him, Which is the first commandment of all?
29 And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:
30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.
31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.
32 And the scribe said unto him, Well, Master, thou hast said the truth: for there is one God; and there is none other but he:
33 And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.
34 And when Jesus saw that he answered discreetly, he said unto him, Thou art not far from the kingdom of God. And no man after that durst ask him any question.

They also found that many people saw miracles performed by Christ Jesus and believed in Him.  These priests felt danger in the movement of Christ Jesus, since it was apparent that Christ Jesus was accusing the priests in the Jerusalem temple by saying "Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's."

Those priests got big money from merchants and shopkeepers in and around the temple making business, selling animals for sacrifice to pilgrims, exchanging money, providing commodities and accommodation for visitors to the temple.  They paid some tax to the Roman governor but they also concealed some incomes.  And, they felt that Christ Jesus knew it.  And, they also took the words of Christ Jesus as He was trying to take over the management of the temple from them.  Now, they found that Christ Jesus was so dangerous to them.

In this way, the Pharisees and the Herodians as well as the Sadducees and scribes all came to concoct a conspiracy to kill Christ Jesus.

So, Christ Jesus did not die for sins of the general public at the era and of us who live today.  He did not take our sins and die on behalf of us.   Christ Jesus died because of evil and greedy minds of elite Judaists and Jewish people in Jerusalem 2000 years ago.  However, it was Satan behind these people.

From the beginning, Christ Jesus was sent to this world by God so that Christ Jesus would save people from the rule of Satan who controlled elite people.  The major enemy of Christ Jesus was Satan.  The Bible is the testimony for the battle between Christ Jesus and Satan.  Satan did not give up his plot to kill Christ Jesus, although Satan left Christ Jesus after the failure in the temptation of Christ Jesus in the desert.

The interpretation of the Bible by the Vatican and other Christian churches has been wrong in these 2000 years.

"The wind bloweth where it listeth" - How Satan Took on Christ Jesus

Tokyo Streets

How Satan Took on Christ Jesus

Killing a person was a grave matter even in Jerusalem 2000 years ago.  But why was Christ Jesus killed?

It was Roman soldiers that were directly in charge of executing the death penalty on Christ Jesus.  These soldiers belonged to a Roman governor of the region.  Then, why did the Roman governor decide to kill Christ Jesus?  Especially, He was executed on the Cross, which meant that the execution of the death penalty was official rather than a sideline job of the governor.  How did he make a report on this official execution of Christ Jesus?  Unfortunately, there are no relevant records.
In the Gospel of Luke, after the Sanhedrin trial of Jesus, the Jewish elders ask Pontius Pilate to judge and condemn Jesus in 23:2, accusing Jesus of making false claims of being a king. While questioning Jesus about the claim of being the King of the Jews, Pilate realizes that Jesus is a Galilean, and that Jesus is under Herod's jurisdiction. Given that Herod was in Jerusalem at that time, Pilate decides to send Jesus to Herod to be tried.
Herod Antipas (the same man who had previously ordered the death of John the Baptist) had wanted to see Jesus for a long time, because he had been hoping to observe one of the miracles of Jesus.[6] However, Jesus says nothing in response to Herod's questions, or the vehement accusations of the chief priests and the scribes.
Herod and his soldiers mock Jesus, put a gorgeous robe on him, as the King of the Jews, and sent him back to Pilate. And Herod and Pilate become friends with each other that day: for before they were at enmity. (Luke 23:12, KJV)
The Gospel of Luke does not state that Herod did not condemn Jesus, and instead attributes that conclusion to Pilate who then calls together the Jewish elders, and says to them:[6]
I having examined him before you, found no fault in this man touching those things whereof ye accuse him: no, nor yet Herod: for he sent him back unto us; and behold, nothing worthy of death hath been done by him.
After further conversations between Pilate and the Jewish elders, Jesus is sent to be crucified on Calvary.

So, Roman governor Pilate did not take initiatives to execute Christ Jesus because he thought that Christ Jesus who was accused of calling himself the king of Israel was really dangerous.  If a Roman governor had found an enemy of the Roman Empire in any foreigner, he would have taken initiatives to execute him.  For a Roman governor to find an enemy of the Roman Empire and execute him might be not a bad thing.  It might even become merit for him.  The governor who executed a foreign insurgent might proudly report it to Rome.  Yet, a governor could not execute an innocent man.  If he had put to death an innocent man on a false charge, it might have been also reported to Rome, and he could have been demoted.  So, it was natural that governor Pilate consulted with Jewish leaders, so that they would not betray him.

Put simply, priests in the Jerusalem temple and leaders of the Jewish people knew that it was not difficult to convince Pilate that he had to execute Christ Jesus.  Calling oneself the king of the Jewish people did not constitute a grave crime.  Roman soldiers would simply laugh at such a man if he had no military power.  Even Pilate would laugh at someone that called himself the Son of God of Jewish people.

However, if many Jewish people had come to believe that Christ Jesus was the Son of God and He should ascend the throne as the king of Israel, there could have been a big trouble for Jewish priests in the Jerusalem Temple and Jewish leaders.  They would lose their status that gave them big wealth and power over Jewish people, if Jewish people had supported and helped Christ Jesus become the lord of Jerusalem and the Jerusalem temple.   So, they sent spies around and in the band of Christ Jesus to gather information about Him.  And, based on the information, they decided to have Pilate execute Christ Jesus.  Then, what was the most important finding for them?  Did they find that Christ Jesus was going to touch off the revolt against the Jewish authority if not against the Roam authority?

Anyway, the conclusion of their conspiracy was to have Pilate execute Christ Jesus.  Consequently, due to the execution of Christ Jesus, Jewish priests and leaders could enjoy status, honor, wealth, power, and privileges for next decades till the Jewish-Roman war.   Indeed, Satan uses status, honor, wealth, power, and privileges to have people sell their souls to him, even today.

"being grieved for the hardness of their hearts" - The Real End of Christ Jesus' Life

The Tokyo Station

The Real End of Christ Jesus' Life

The following are the ending parts of the Gospels:

Mathew
Mat 28:16 Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them.
Mat 28:17 And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted.
Mat 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
Mat 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Mat 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Mark
Mar 16:8 And they went out quickly, and fled from the sepulchre; for they trembled and were amazed: neither said they any thing to any man; for they were afraid.
Mar 16:9 Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils.
Mar 16:10 And she went and told them that had been with him, as they mourned and wept.
Mar 16:11 And they, when they had heard that he was alive, and had been seen of her, believed not.
Mar 16:12 After that he appeared in another form unto two of them, as they walked, and went into the country.
Mar 16:13 And they went and told it unto the residue: neither believed they them.
Mar 16:14 Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen.
Mar 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
Mar 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
Mar 16:17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
Mar 16:18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
Mar 16:19 So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.
Mar 16:20 And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.

Luke
Luk 24:46 And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:
Luk 24:47 And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
Luk 24:48 And ye are witnesses of these things.
Luk 24:49 And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.
Luk 24:50 And he led them out as far as to Bethany, and he lifted up his hands, and blessed them.
Luk 24:51 And it came to pass, while he blessed them, he was parted from them, and carried up into heaven.
Luk 24:52 And they worshipped him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy:
Luk 24:53 And were continually in the temple, praising and blessing God. Amen.

John
Joh 21:21 Peter seeing him saith to Jesus, Lord, and what shall this man do?
Joh 21:22 Jesus saith unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? follow thou me.
Joh 21:23 Then went this saying abroad among the brethren, that that disciple should not die: yet Jesus said not unto him, He shall not die; but, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee?
Joh 21:24 This is the disciple which testifieth of these things, and wrote these things: and we know that his testimony is true.
Joh 21:25 And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen.

So, it is ambiguous what really happened to Christ Jesus after the death on the Cross and the Resurrection.

Nobody today believes that Christ Jesus floated up to Heaven from the ground.  It might be a phantom or apparition of Christ Jesus that the Disciples saw due to too much absorption in the faith in Christ Jesus.  But since the last time when they saw Christ Jesus in reality or as an apparition, He never appeared to His followers.  It means that if Christ Jesus had not been physically carried up into Heaven, the human body of Christ Jesus must have existed somewhere till He naturally died.

From other holy documents of the New Testament, it can be assumed that Christ Jesus was at least around Damascus a few years later when Saul was travelling to Jerusalem to Damascus.  And, Saul was actually spoken to by actual and living Christ Jesus.  This is the most probable situation.  And, Saul followed Christ Jesus to the place so called Arabia where Saul was taught the theology by Christ Jesus, so that Saul, later called Paul, could start his mission as if he had known Christ Jesus in person.

But if this theory was correct, where did Christ Jesus go after having taught Paul?  And, where did his human  body die?

If you could discover it, it would be the greatest discovery in these 2000 years.  So, what is the real end of Christ Jesus' life?

Mar 3:4 And he saith unto them, Is it lawful to do good on the sabbath days, or to do evil? to save life, or to kill? But they held their peace.
Mar 3:5 And when he had looked round about on them with anger, being grieved for the hardness of their hearts, he saith unto the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it out: and his hand was restored whole as the other.

"The voice of one crying in the wilderness" - Involvement of Satan

West of Tokyo on the Pacific Coast

Involvement of Satan

Why must Christ Jesus have been killed?

The Jewish priests in the Jerusalem temple must have found that Christ Jesus was so dangerous that they had to take Him on.  They persuaded the Roman governor and officers to remove Christ Jesus by force because He could be a threat to the Roman occupation of Palestine and Jerusalem.

But Christ Jesus just preached some specific words written in the Hebrew Bible in addition to his unique interpretation of Judaism.  He did not tell people to fight against the Jewish authority and the Roman authority.

But as many people came to respect Christ Jesus, the Jewish authority sent spies around Christ Jesus to check contents of the preaching by Christ Jesus.  Those spies tested Christ Jesus by asking questions to which Christ Jesus answered cleverly.  Then, the Jewish authority tried to turn any of close followers of Christ Jesus to their spies.  So, Judas was bought by them, and he informed them that some of Apostles regarded Christ Jesus as a messiah, the son of God, or even God.

If the Jewish authority thought that they could nor tolerate Christ Jesus calling Himself a messiah, the Son of God, or God, they could openly blame Christ Jesus since such a behavior was against Judaism.  The Jewish authority could tell people that Christ Jesus was against Judaism as he regarded Himself a messiah, the Son of God, or God.  Then, Jewish people would reject Christ Jesus.  The Jewish authority could protect their positions and status.

Here, Satan appeared to the Jewish authority.  Satan told them that they were greater than Christ Jesus even if He was a messiah, the Son of God, or God if they could kill Christ Jesus.  And if they could kill Christ Jesus, they did not have to have a fear of God.  By killing Christ Jesus no matter if He was a messiah, the Son of God, or God, Jewish priests could protect their status and wealth.  So, forget about God and just kill Christ Jesus, Satan must have imbued them with this crazy idea.  Finally, they arrested and killed Christ Jesus so easily.

Therefore, it is not for human sins or salvation of human souls that Christ Jesus was killed.  The world of the New Testament is a world where God, Angels, Satan, demons, miracles, etc. are true and real.   So then, the most significant incident in the Gospel, the Crucifixion of Christ Jesus, must involve Satan.  And it is natural that Satan used the Jewish authority and the Roman authority to kill Christ Jesus.  No other theological explanation about the Crucifixion of Christ Jesus excluding Satan cannot be accepted.

Mat 3:3 For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet Esaias, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.
Mat 3:4 And the same John had his raiment of camel's hair, and a leathern girdle about his loins; and his meat was locusts and wild honey.
